Jocelyn Piper Essary Brain Cancer Fight

Donation protected
This
prescious little girl is 2 year old Jocelyn Piper Essary. In September of 2014 right after her first birthday we found out Jocelyn had a mass in her brain.  After her being a perfectly developing baby we were rushed of out of town to the Children's Hospital in Madera, CA.  By our surprise they had found a massive 4x4 inch tumor in her brain. This whole ordeal is any parents worst nightmare but we manage to hold it together for the 6-9 months we lived at the hospital. During that time Jocelyn went under some grueling surgerys, procedures, testing and treatments. Which pushed us all to our limits only to find out that both chemotherapy treatments were only causing her tumor to grow. Last procedure to gain some time was a brain shunt to drain fluids and alleviate the pressure. With the high pressure off Jocelyn began to regain back some abilities she had before. We were all pleased to think that she would be back to her old self in no time. Even through all the therapies, teachers and medication Jocelyn was not thriving as much anymore as she gained a few new abilities but then lost others. Surely enough it's becoming less activity and more sleep. Currently Jocelyn is immobile, and unable to communicate needing complete 100% monitoring at all times as she is stuck in a 10 month old mentality and having constant seizures. As everything with her health goes back and fourth up and down so does all emotions involved. We decided this isn't it there must be something out there to save our baby, so we went for a second opinion. Stanford Childrens Hospital and the tumor board meeting sadly informed us that Jocelyn's tumor is extremely large and will eventually take over her working functions as well. So here we are no innovative treatments and mentions of hospice care. NO.. We will not go down with out a fight!! We will always carry on as we look deeper then ever in research and wanting to explore any treatments that will save our little girl. You never know what the day is gonna bring for Jocelyn it's the opposite extremes everyday but we can see the fight in her as most of you know she's always got a smile on her face. So I'm gonna ask of everyone to please send prayers, positive vibes, information, love and support our way as this mountain just seems to get higher. This site is set up to tell Jocelyn's story and help advertise to get DONATIONS for medical treatments, natural medicines, traveling to appointments, alleivate stress for mommy and daddy. But most of all in this unknown time we all have left is she need to experience life outside the hospital. She needs games and toys and trips full of entertainment to keep her mind at ease. So please donate and share her story.. Thank you and God bless
