I have since done all the paycheck-to-paycheck living unemployment things, like applying for benefits and getting on Medicaid, and I’ve made <strong>job searching my new 9 to 5 job</strong>.

But sitting at my home desk has been taking a toll on my health as a gaming monitor isn’t meant for all of this staring with my <strong>eye condition</strong>, and we were trying to save a few dollars here and there. Then we couldn’t get coverage for my partner’s <strong>ADHD meds</strong>, without which he will not be able to keep his (still low-paying enough he <em>already</em> qualified for Medicaid) job…

<div>... and then, for bogus reasons that we would fight if we had a lawyer, our car was impounded by the city, charging us <strong>over $800 in fees</strong> to get it back.

<div>My mother has been stepping in to cover things where she can, but she too is retired and lost pretty much everything in the recent stock market crashes. Her IRA is toast. I would like to be able to <strong>give money back to my mother</strong>, plus purchase the following “luxuries”:

<li>$200 for a BenQ Eye Care monitor
</li>
<li>$185.90 for a month supply of ADHD meds for my partner

<div>Because of miscellaneous expenses, GoFundMe fees, etc., we’ve rounded this up to $2000, and if it goes above that, anything else will be used to pay our rent, utilities, phone bill, and food and treats for the goodest boy Jasper who is featured in the photos here because I don’t want to feature our ugly mugs. (None of this even touches our $30,000 in credit card debt for covering other high medical expenses, but that is something that will have to wait until I'm making a decent salary again.)
