<div>I hope this message finds you well, though my reason for reaching out is incredibly heavy-hearted. My name is Jazmine, and my dearest beloved friend Joanna is facing the end to a challenging 2-year journey (what a rockstar right?!) against pancreatic cancer. She is an amazing human, wife, friend, and mother of 2 young boys, Kaden (10) and Hunter (7).

<div>In January, 2022 she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors (PNET). I could describe the last two years, the endless appointments, the challenges switching treatments with fingers crossed, the moments of relief, so many tears, the incredible struggle, and everything in between.

<div>But what is most important to me right now is to tell you about my friend and her heart and what's most important about this journey for her and her family once her body is no longer with us.

<div>Joanna is a source of strength and love. She is a LIGHT in this world and has always been. Anyone who knows her will tell you her smile brightens a room and her energy always enhances your day. It is not surprising that she has stayed incredibly grounded and committed to choosing joy in the smallest moments and to see magic in the in-between. Her spirit has touched us all.

<div>At the current stage in the game she and her family are bravely confronting the harsh reality of this diagnosis, and I am asking you to rally together to provide the support they need at this most challenging time.

<div>This fight has taken such a toll in so many ways. The physical limitations were quick and strong leaving Brian and their amazing network to support her and the boys in all the ways they needed. The emotional burden has been unbearable. The financial burden is real and large. None are worse than the other but the last strain is what we are seeking your help to alleviate as Joanna continues to fights this relentless battle.

<div>Your generous donations will go directly towards their past and current medical expenses. She is currently in a wonderful Hospice center that is taking amazing care of her and that allows her family, and pups to be with her &lt;3

<div>Beyond the immediate needs, your support will also help secure a future for Joanna's family as they navigate life after her battle. This includes an impending prominent financial hurdle this spring when Brians government contract is permanently ending leaving him to find a new job at this already difficult time.

<div>Joanna, and mainly her family need us now. Anyone who knows her knows she would be the FIRST to help when, where, and how she could. She is LOVE and has shared it time and time again throughout her beautiful life.

<div>My big ask is to help with all of those expenses and more. Because even after the bills are paid, and Brian finds a new job, they have a lifetime without her. This is incredibly difficult to type. Because it's true and its gut-wrenching.

<div>I want to, before she is gone, show her that her family can rest at ease financially from the support we can provide them. I want her to know that she doesn't have to worry about them in that way.
