Dear Friends and Family,
It's been a long challenging road for me these past few years. I don't go into much detail with my personal life, but I've had personal and financial struggles. There were times where I felt defeated and wondered if things would ever work out for me. After years of trying to find myself and deciding what I really want to do for a living, I'm finally fulfilling my biggest dream. I can finally say that I am in the process of making my debut album!! Sometimes life has a funny way of working out. I know now, that there were so many things that had to line up for me. Personal growth, finding the right people who believe in me and what I envision, and that are able to direct me in the right path.
I'll be honest I've always tip toed around being a singer-songwriter. Dabbling in radio then to voice over but inside I knew what gave me the most fulfillment - singing. To have people enjoy what I do, has always taken me aback because I literally would just sing to myself. I'm not one to show emotion all the time, but I always sing in times of joy and in times of sorrow. That is how I've always expressed myself (to myself). Now I want to be able to share the songs that I have written, and be able to sing for a living.
My only obstacle now is funding. I recently signed with a music manager, Neil Valentine and became part of the The Valentine Vision Music Group. He discovered me from old videos on my YouTube channel. He has put me in touch with a phenomenal producer named Rayan. It was a very organic fit for me. (which does not come easy!) Not only does he see the vision I have with little explanation, but he is able to bring my songs to life. Something I never thought would happen. We have a timeline and we have goals to meet. There is no sitting around on this one and honestly no donation is too small. ALL of the funds will go into making and promoting this album.
The timeline for my debut album entitled "Mercury Rising" is for Winter 2017.
The most important thing is getting funding for Mixing and Mastering my demos. So instead of asking for the inital $9k, I want to set the funding to $7,000. That way I can get my demos and have a little room for photos and promotion.

Mixing/Mastering/Producing: $5,500
Pictures:( Promotion/Website/Album Cover) $250
Music Video: $300
Studio Time for Vocals: $600
Copyright: $750 ($75 per song)
Website Launch / Social Media makeover: $375
Distribution/Merch: $400
Trademark: $300

Thank you to everyone that donated! My original goal of $7000 has been met <3 The main bulk of this was to pay for mixing/mastering/producer fees - which will be completely funded thanks to all of you!!
I'm still paying some things out of my own pocket and there have been so many nice people that still wanted to donate, so I raised it to $8000. If you look at the breakdown below it shows where all the money is going to. Which is all used for making/promoting this album.
