Joan Warner Funeral Expenses

Laughter and sunshine.
These are the memories that come to mind when I think of the people who were like the grandparents I never had. Strength, compassion and wisdom is what I gained from having them in my life.

Strength is for all the times they encouraged me when I was afraid.
When they helped me up after I fell and told me to hold my chin up high. When they took me on trips through the woods and to the local farm to teach me how to appreciate whats around me. When they told me it was okay to cry as long as I don't give up.When they pushed me to be adventurous and carefree while ensuring that they would always be there for me.

Compassion is what they showed me.
How they would go and clean the church every week with smiles on their faces. How they would always be the first to volunteer to babysit for someone who's parents were in a bind. How they taught sunday school and ran a 4-H program for the local children. How they were the first to step up when anyone in the community needed a hand, whether it be shoveling their driveway or ensuring someone remembered to eat after they just loss a loved one. How they would listen to your greatest ambitions and faults without ever judging you and loving you, forever, for who you are.

Wisdom is what I gained when I realized that you don't have to be blood related to be family.
Goerge and Joan Warner were "grandparents" to many of us who they used to babysit day in and day out when we were younger.

George left us just a few years ago.
This morning, after a fight with bladder cancer, his wife Joan, a strong pillar to her family, joined him in heaven.

As everyone knows, Funeral expenses are increasingly high. Now imagine paying those expenses twice in less than 5 years.

Even worse, imagine saying goodbye to both of your parents just a few years a part.

I am asking for help for the funeral expenses of Joan Warner, so her five children and all her grandchildren don't have to add burden onto heartbreak.

No amount is too small and every bit will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you all for your help and consideration and I hope you are blessed in the new year.
