Jo's Colic Surgery

"Hesa San Jo" known and loved as "Jo" went through emergency colic surgery after being shown at the Stock Horse of Texas World Championship Show. Jo has been a vital member of the Texas A&M Stock Horse Team for the past 10 years. He has carried more riders to success than any other horse we've had in the program. We are very fortunate that the Department of Animal Science elected to go through with his surgery, as they understand his importance to our team. However, as his case was very serious and will require a long recovery, any financial support from our Aggie family will be a significant help to our team and our program. We know that Jo is loved by many and has impacted the lives of numerous Aggies throughout his time at A&M. Any excess funds raised will go directly toward the veterinary care and maintenance of the Stock Horse Team's horses. We are so thankful for the support of our Aggie community and we expect that Jo will continue to teach riders for years to come.
