Jo and Henry Gibbs Fund

Dear Friends and Family,

The Asheville community has suffered a great loss. We are deeply mourning the death of William Edward Gibbs and O'Brien Gibbs, ages 10 and 13. They, along with their brother and mother, were in car accident on September 26, 2017. 

As a family, they have been involved in many aspects of our community - Boy Scouts, baseball, JROTC, school board, fundraising committees, as well as Jo's work as a teacher at Asheville Middle School. 
One result of this tragedy will be the significant financial hardship that is coming.  In addition to related medical bills for Jo and Henry, and funeral expenses for William Edward and O'Brien, the family's only reliable vehicle was involved in the accident.  This vehicle will need to be replaced.

Asheville Catholic School, Asheville City Schools, and Boy Scout Troop 61 are all working together to support the family.  This page is a collaboration of these three organizations, but we encourage anyone to donate to help this family.  Jennifer Leiter is the office manager at Asheville Catholic School, and is the administrator of this page.   Jo Landreth (mother) will recieve all proceeds raised through your generosity.  We will work directly with Jo to make sure she has access to all of these funds.
