To know Ava Taylor-Williams is to know love, class and beauty. Ava is a wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and ray of light. She turns clients into family and strangers into friends and homes into art. Ava gives all she has for loved ones and her love of design.
If you had seen Ava recently, you would not know she has literally been fighting for her life battling stage 4 cancer over the past year and a half. You may not recognize this because even enduring invasive chemotherapy, she’s continued to work tirelessly for clients, while caring for her husband, Jerry, who’s suffering from advanced Alzheimer’s disease and requires around the clock care.
On August 11, 2018, Ava was admitted into Moses Cone after suffering 3 strokes leaving her significantly incapacitated at this time. She is to remain there for 18 days, after which, she will entering into a nursing facility for several months more for continued rehabilitation. During this time, someone must be at her home 24 hours a day to care for Jerry. Neither are able to work, regardless of the insurmountable household expenses, mortgage payments and medical bills all rapidly increasing.
We’ve started this Go Fund Me campaign to ask those of you who love her and are able to help financially to please offer whatever monetary support you can so that Ava can focus on healing rather than stress about finances. This is becoming quickly a desperate situation. Every penny donated will go toward the bills for Ava and Jerry. At this time, Ava is unable to respond to texts and emails.
