Uncle Pedro Cerrato Burial Cost

Hello all.
My uncle Pedro Cerrato , who proudly served his country in the United States Army, passed away appoximately a week ago. After passing away, his family began the process of getting his military burial arranged here in California. It has been a week since his passing and the VA (Veterans Administration) has not finished the paperwork process for the military burial. At this point the family, after a week of aggravation has decided to not wait on the VA any longer, as they would like to put my Uncle to rest.
A cremation was decided to be the best possible scenario as the military burial and honors was the first choice, but the red tape has allowed my uncle to not be dealt with in a timely manner.
My uncle Pedro was a great man. He is survied by his wife and three sons. He loved his country, deer hunting, and his family.
So in an attempt to honor my Uncle Pedro, his service to our country, and his loved ones, we are asking for donations to aid in paying for the cremation.
We would like to have funds collected by Monday January 5, 2015 so the funds can be given to the cremation business to have this done as soon as possible.
