Hello family and friends,
I’m starting this Go Fund Me page because I find myself in need of funds for cataract laser surgery on both eyes. I realize that it's difficult for everyone during this time, but I’m on a disability income and I have no means of paying for this and I’m pleading for help.
I have been a diabetic for at least 40 years now, but have been struggling with my health a lot more in the past 1.5 year. In June 2019, I had a heart attack and also kidney failure, which resulted of me needing dialysis three times a week. Then this January I had a triple bypass surgery. I have been in and out of the ER, and hospitals since then . I’ve somewhat been able to manage paying most of my medical bills and medications.
For the eye surgeries, my out of pocket cost is more than I can afford. But, my surgeon says that due to my diabetes history, he highly recommends the laser surgery because there is less chance of infection with a faster recovery time.
God has been with me through it all. I greatly, greatly appreciate anything you can assist with. In
prolonging this surgery, my eyes can worsen and I don’t have any other financial options. Thank you for
