Dearest family and friends,
It’s with heavy hearts that we write this update. After a brave and courageous fight, Jean passed peacefully in her home Thursday, May 3rd. We would like to thank each and every one of you for your kind words and generous donations. Your efforts were no doubt a great sense of comfort to Jean in her final days. Your love and prayers were a blessing to her and our family as well. The remaining funds will now be directed to Jean’s final wishes as she is laid to rest. Please know she maintained her smile and sense of humor until the end. Her strength was in part because of all of you.

At the moment a long list of diagnoses has left me bed bound and a poor candidate for care in a facility.  My wish is to stay in my home but with the high cost of healthcare that’s become increasingly difficult.  As a watercolorist, my dream is to return to painting but that will require a team of caregivers and physical therapists.  
Thank you so much for your love and well-wishes.  

With your help, I may be able to return to my studio which is my true happy place.
