One who saves a life...

After 8 long years of not seeing me or any of our family, 22 year old Nir Chaim finally was able to come visit us in Florida.

He just finished his service in the Golani Brigade in the IDF and we always talk about him coming to visit after he completed his service. After saving up for an entire year and working many double shifts he finally made it.

Not to long ago, on February 13, Nir took an Uber to Sawgrass malls and never ended up coming home that night. Since he left his passport, money and almost all his possessions at home, everyone was getting worried.

The next day, Valentine’s day, I went to the Police Station to go file a missing persons report, but the police didn’t take me seriously. If anything he probably thought a young good looking guy found a girl and that was it. It was Valentine’s eve.

The Sunrise Police Station said they checked all state records and couldn’t find any trace of him. That’s when I called Channel 10 News. Afterwards our family called the Israeli Embassy and hired a company that specializes in finding missing Jews.

The next day a nurse from Nirs Intensive Care Unit realized who this man was after seeing me on Channel 10 and called the cops.

I arrived 10 minutes before Shabbat only to find out my dear younger brother, Nir, arrived at the hospital with internal bleeding in his brain, and ER doctors had to remove a piece of his skull to help combat swelling. He is currently heavily sedated and not even breathing on his own.

Right now we are praying for him (Nir Chaim ben Revital) and trying to get him back home, back to our parents, back to Israel.

The doctors have said the best place for him to be is home. To be surrounded by familiar faces, family, language, and friends. They said it’s essential to the healing process that he go home.

My brother doesn’t have insurance. He came to visit me on a tourist visa and neither he nor I have the financial means to pay, and I just don’t have the financial means to help my brother.

Please. We need all the help we can get.

Not only would you be helping us financially but you would help my brother heal faster.

Please help us raise $250,000 to help cover my younger brothers health expenses.

We are grateful and appreciative of B'nai Sephardim Shaare Shalom synagogue and it's Kehila in Hollywood, Florida for their financial and moral support in raising funds and increasing the awareness of our desperate need for help.

Whatever you donated is greatly appreciated and if you can’t donate now or donated (which I greatly appreciate) Please have my brothers name in mind while you pray
