Animal Shelter Rebuild

Hello, My name is Calvin Red Owl III. the founder and operator of the White Owl Sanctuary. the first and only animal shelter on the pine ridge indian reservation. in operation since 2014 on 11/11/2020 my animal shelter had suffered a devastating fire that destroyed the entire facility. Although we have a long road to recovery, we had secured a trailer and 4 acre property to develop and re-establish a permanent facility, here on the pine ridge reservation. im currently seeking help with the move of our trailer to the property and to renovate the trailer to properly house and care for the animals. as well as build a fenced in area for the animals to run free.

Prior to the fire we housed anywhere from 1-50 animals at a time, now due to the lack of a facility and proper equipment we are limited to a total of 6 animals, at the most.

With the landmass of Delaware and Rhode Island combined and little to no animal control on the reservation. the overpopulation of dogs is beyond controllable. Being the only animal shelter on the 2.1 million acre reservation it is vital to the health and well being of not only the animals but the people as well in means of providing a better quality of life to all living beings.
