Deployed 5 Times to the "hot zones" of Iraq, Afganistan, and also off the Coast of Africa, he was injured numerous times in the line of duty. This Infantry veteran was awarded not one, but two Purple Hearts.
If anyone does, this young man personifies the Marine Corps slogan "The Few. The Proud." And to that end... he's never asked for help. He didn't even ask us to create this "Go Fund Me" campaign. I was recently notified about his situation and I cannot help him alone. I know that there are generous people who would like the opportunity to support this local service member.
Due to his injuries, he recently retired and his Vetrans Benefits are pending. To make ends meet for his small family, he took a job as an Uber Driver. And that is why we need your help. The transmission on his vehicle went out and it's going to cost thousands of dollars to get it back on the road. While the vehicle is out of commission he has no income. The goal of this campaign to help get his car back on the road before the New Year.
While you are shopping for the holidays, please consider giving a small donation to a man who has donated years of his life in service to our country.
