Jimmy Lacina & Family

Jimmy Lacina- The Brave, Honorable and Loyal Angel

Jimmy was called home to be with our Heavenly Father on September 29, 2018 around 10:15 pm at the young age of 59. His loving wife was by his side until his last breath and he was called home. He will be missed terribly by all who knew him and at this time we ask you to help rally around the family, lift them in prayer and if you are able, please donate so that Sandra can take care of costs associated with the situation.

Anyone who knew Jimmy knows that he is the type of man who would give the shirt off his back if he thought it would help you in any way. He was very proud of his wife Sandra, his children- sons Greg and Michael, and daughters Tabby and Kim, 14 grandchildren (Aaron, one of his grandchildren pictured below, was there with Sandra and Jimmy to help during the summer), 6 great grandchildren, and last but not least,  his best 4 legged buddy, Bear and he truly loved them all so much. Any time he spoke of them, he did so with the biggest smile and you could see the pride and love he held. They were absolutely his pride and joy! Jimmy also loved God and gave his life to him sometime ago. He had very strong Christian beliefs and was more than happy to talk to you about them or if you just needed a listening ear, anything really, Jimmy would be there.

Jimmy was a tried and true, all the way through, Texans fan. Jimmy and Kim would always talk football, she's a Cowboys fan so you know they had fun. He also loved to go fishing any time he could. He especially enjoyed the times with his son Gregg and when they would get to go fishing in Port Aransas and Mustang Island. Jimmy and his daughter Tabby enjoyed their talks about life and his grand babies.

And then there was work... He really set the bar high for work ethic. He is loved dearly by his work family at McCorvey Companies. He was with the company many years and worked extensively in their Houston, San Antonio and Florida offices. Anytime there was a co-worker in need, Jimmy was there, pulling funds from his pocket to help, even if he didn't know personally who the person was. His work was never done, he took this job and his work family and took care of them on and off the clock. Even after Hurricane Harvey, he stepped in and helped many of the families who were devastated by this disaster without the blink of an eye. That's just who Jimmy was. His work didn't stop after helping his co-workers, he even helped family members of his co-workers. He was proud of his work and wanted it done right. Even after being told he could not physically work anymore, Jimmy was behind the scenes making sure things were going as they should. He will be dearly missed by everyone there!

Please help rally around the family and donate what you can and is in your heart to give. Please also feel free to leave Sandra and the family your favorite memories with Jimmy and keep this family in your prayers. Thank you all!
