Jimmy Kitchens - Cremation expenses

Donation protected
On December 15th, 2020, husband and father Jimmy Kitchens  passed away after battling heart disease for many years. He was born to J.B. and Erma Kitchens on January 26, 1943 in Hobart, Oklahoma. He was the oldest of their 9 children.  Jimmy and his wife Karen Kitchens were married for 41 years. She cared for him at their home when his health began to decline. He is preceded in death by his parents, J.B. and Erma Kitchens, and two sisters, Glenda Niles and Joy Lujan.  Jimmy is survived by four brothers; Royce Kitchens, Joe Kitchens, Buddy Kitchens, and Bruce Kitchens, two sisters; Elaine Vierra and Kathy Kitchens, seven children; Michael Kitchens, Patrick Kitchens, Jolene Sholes, Mathew Kitchens, William Waddington, Jimmy Kitchens Jr., and Bobby Kitchens, and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Karen was Jimmy's full-time caretaker in the last few years of his life, and as his dementia began to progress she was forced to give up her part-time job and stay with him around the clock for his safety. Unfortunately, he did not have any life insurance, and as his household was supported with his Social Security benefits. This has added to family's stresses at this time, wondering how we will all pay for his cremation expenses. Kincannon Funeral Home of Altus, OK are providing the services. The expenses are currently totaled at $2,850+ (and counting).

I'm posting this on behalf of Karen in an effort to help relieve some of the financial stress at this time, so that his family may take this time to grieve and "remember the good times" instead of worrying about how to ensure he is laid to rest. Any amount that you can donate is more than appreciated.
