<div>I'm part of a group of rafters who just met a wonderful human who lives life giving to others day after day. We met Jimmy Gillese as a river guide on the Chilco river this past week during a OARS/ROAM adventure. During our week on the water hearing Jimmy share his passion for the land, nature, and fellow humans it was clear he lives his life for others. Jimmy spends much of his non river guiding time as a Swift Water Rescue Instructor mostly teaching other river guides and Swift Water Rescue personnel. He is a father of two sons and a daughter 2, 5, and 7 year's old we heard many proud dad stories during our time rafting.

<div>Upon our return Jimmy learned that while out sharing his passion for rivers and nature to all of us, he lost his home to a quick moving wildfire started by lightning. Besides losing his home, his wife lost her place of work, and his community lost 30% of all buildings in Jasper, Alberta.

<div>We are reaching out with this Gofundme to assist in helping Jimmy and his family to the level that feels comfortable for you. This is a man who any of you would enjoy spending time with as he is constantly thinking about how he can help others.
