Jimmy Doukopoulos

Dimitrios ‘Jimmy’ Doukopoulos was extremely loving and devoted as both a husband and father. Working as the sole provider for his family, in plumbing and heating, he made every effort to give to his wife Debi and son Aleko something that he did not have in his own upbringing; through endless love, support, and sacrifice. Every day with Jimmy was a blessing while spent as a family within the home he had built from the ground up for his wife and son. On March 28th, Jimmy began to suffer from heart complications which resulted in a heart attack. Upon being transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center for intensive care, the complications became too much for his heart to sustain. Despite the continuous care and life support, Jimmy’s heart began to fail with efforts to revive him failing as well. Because of this, on March 30th, Jimmy passed away but is survived by his wife, son, and six dogs.

With Jimmy’s passing, he has left his surviving family with a void that cannot be filled. His love is forever felt and his memories live on within the walls he built for his beloved family. As the sole provider for his family, his surviving wife and son are left with a severe financial burden to cover the funeral and additional costs to preserve the memories and years within their family home. Any effort to aid them in such an emotionally and mentally defeating time is greatly appreciated, and will go towards preserving Jimmys legacy as a devoted husband, father, and friend to the many that loved him like a brother.
