My children and I have experienced perhaps the hardest moments of our lives.  We are victims of domestic violence. DV abuse goes beyond physical harm.  "Name calling or put downs, keeping a partner from contacting their family or friends, withholding money, stopping a partner from getting or keeping a job, threats, sexual assault, stalking, and intimidation are all forms of abuse (Instagram: #stop.domestic.violence)."   Our basic necessities have been denied by the children's father.  We are in need of food, payment for psychiatry and counseling for our PTSD and anxiety, as well as needing doctor's appointments for Zachary who has autism and is unable to see his specialist in Newark and UCSF, and is now unable to have his nutritional supplements and ADHD medications for focus and reduction of behaviors because my estranged husband is refusing to pay for these needs.  While some know that he has cancer, his prognostic outlook is high and he will return to work.  Despite his illness he was, in my family's opion ,well enough to harm us with name-calling, disparaging put downs, withholding money, violent behavior, interfering with my self-employment, threats, stalking and more. As retribution for filing a restraining order to protect myself and my children Haley, Zachary, and Sydney, he has stopped all payments for food and medical needs and filed for divorce.  God's merciful grace guides my plea here to all of you who care and love me, and who have known me for years.
