Jim Turner Urgent Medical Expenses

I have a friend/classmate from MSOP who is in financial need, a one time need of $1600 for both knees to be replaced. In addition he took out a loan against his better judgment to pay other accrued medical expenses. He needs help with this too. Jim has put off both knees being replaced for many years now.  He is scheduled to have this surgery in early October but needs the money by September 16.  Jim cares (and has for some years) for his wife who has dementia and seizures.  He took a preaching job in Fairfield, NC many years ago for a small congregation in a mission field with the understanding that his wife would supplement their income. She has not been able to work for a few years now and will not ever again.  If anyone is worthy of brotherhood support it is Jim Turner.  The little church where he labors supplies a home and a meager salary and he and Tammy live frugally but these health care costs have more than depleted all they have.
