This past week has been pretty much the hardest weeks of my life. My dad went into the hospital for a breathing problem at the beginning of the week and two days later ended up in the ICU with heart failure and respiratory issues the night before my gram his mother passed away. My gram and dad were each other's life support for my whole life it's always been that way so when the nurses said it was stress induced heart failure/attack that's exactly the reason why.
My dad's never had it easy and has always stressed about a lot of things. Family, bills and everything else. Today after being sedated for 5 days he was taken off the ventilator and as nice as it was to see him awake and sort of with it he instantly went into worry mode about bills and the house and everything else. He doesn't know that my gram passed away just yet but she was 104 so we all knew it was coming but when you're close and you love someone that doesn't make it any easier especially the relationship they had which has brought me here.
My dad and myself are probably the last people that would ask for help but life is bigger and more important than any of that so. I know how hard it is for most people and their financial situations but if you can help in any way with my dad's long journey in the beginning of this recovery process I would honestly appreciate more than anything and be grateful forever. Just to be able to make it not so stressful on him as soon as he's able to realize everything going on would be amazing and the best way to start this journey rather than try to heal a heavy heart while climbing a mountain of bills and needing care.
