Medical Details:
Colleagues, Friends, Family - Jim Runge, just 3 weeks after his wedding, has suffered a substantial stroke, and is currently in the ICU in Green Bay. While receiving excellent care and physical rehabilitation in the hospital, he has a long road ahead of him. It is yet to be determined whether or when he will be transferred to a rehabilitation facility or if he will be able to undergo therapy at home with some household modifications. The doctors are optimistic that he will make a full recovery, in time, with ongoing care to regain strength and his ability to walk.
The Bills:
Jim and his wife Stacy are strong and positive and they will get through this together, with the help of our community. The Good news is that Medicaid and a local non-profit organization are helping with medical bills. Unfortunately, they are in dire financial straits and struggling to pay everyday expenses, on top of substantial household debt accrued over the past several months due to CoVid-19 shutting down their sources of income.
