<div>In July of 2022 Jim sent me a text from a hospital bed, thanking me for the Jiu-jitsu techniques that saved his life. He then shared with me what happened: Jim had been nearly mortally wounded in a brutal knife attack that took the lives of his mother and grandmother. Despite being stabbed multiple times, Jim managed to wrestle the knife from his attacker. He sustained major injuries to his sternum, heart, liver, head, ear and eye and has been fighting to overcome the physical and psychological trauma of the attack for the past two years.

<div>Jim is starting over in what should be the prime of his life. Despite everything he's been through, Jim is still resolved to reclaim the life that was almost taken from him. Jim is too proud to ask for help. I am asking for help on his behalf. These funds will help cover his medical expenses, ongoing rehabilitation, basic living costs, and legal fees during this difficult time.
