Jim Fross' Cancer Emergency

Jim & Ruth Fross are a retired ministry couple.  After Jim's last pastorate, he and Ruth began traveling full time in their RV.  That motorhome was their only living quarters, and they were enjoying their adventure of seeing the country together.

They were just getting used to this new life when Jim began feeling very weak. He was unable to do ordinary things that he had done all his life. Heart disease was the verdict. Not long after stabilizing his heart, his doctors informed him that he had cancer. 

Trusting in God, they moved in their RV to Owensboro, KY for treatment.  Soon the weather became so severe that they had to move out of the motorhome and into a rental house--which they did with the help of a few friends.  They were just beginning treatment--Jim had his first chemotherapy January 7, 2021. Two days later he collapsed in the bedroom floor and EMTs had to be called to get him to the ER.  They did CPR to bring him back to life. Since then, he has been in the ICU at Owensboro.  He will not be able to continue the treatments. His cancer is terminal.

Ruth and Jim have not been able to handle the financial stress that this turn of events has brought upon them.  They will lose their RV in the midst of this, and that is about all they had. They need our help. . .for medical bills, living expenses, and, soon a funeral.  They have lived their lives serving others. In Heaven they will be richly rewarded, but let's show them that they are not alone on earth.  Whatever you can contribute will be most appreciated.

If you are in the Owensboro area, you might ask your church to minister to this sweet couple. They know very few people there.  Time is very short. Jim will be gone soon, and Ruth will be alone. . . but not really.  Please stand by them in this hour and do what you can to help.
