The Jim Feldmann Memorial Fund has been established to inspire people to care and connect with communities and cultures around the world. We started the fund on September 1, 2017. The funds may be used to help non-profit organizations, communities in need and we hope to create a scholarship for a student to study abroad while helping a community in need.
Jim Feldmann was an incredible man that always searched to find the right path in life regardless of the obstacles. What always mattered first was loving and connecting with those he encountered and knew - whether someone he came across from a small village on a rain soaked dirt path in the Amazon, a protest fighting for those that could not or the environment or his many friends and family that he seemed to connect with more deeply than anyone can imagine. He was honest and caring and dedicated his life to helping and caring for others while seeking peace and truth for himself.
His tragic death on August 25, 2017 took our son, brother, uncle, grandson and beloved friend from us but not his spirit or his soul. We will follow his life's path and look to support communities and organizations he cared and fought for.
