Jim Collins’ Cancer Fundraiser

When Jim Collins was diagnosed in October 2017 with stage IV colon cancer, it shocked all of us.  He is so young to have this diagnosis. This past year he had surgery and has been receiving chemotherapy. He had a 44 day hospital stay from May to July. He had another hospital stay in October.  Jen has been  an absolute rock during this time. She prepares Jim’s meds every day. She advocates for him.   She prepares meals. She drives him to his treatments. But most of all she gives her unwavering love and support. 

Recently, Jim’s company terminated  him so they now have to pay out of pocket for insurance. This is a huge expense, plus the mortgage, gas to get to treatments, food, etc. 

We really want to offer not only our emotional support but our financial support during this unfathomable time to both Jim and Jen.
