Jill's Battle with Cancer

Van Horn High, 1975, Senior year. As I read my Mom's year book, words of "Don't change", "We love you Jill."
As I receive notes and cards as my Mom battles through her second battle of breast cancer, an oupouring of, "We love you Jill," and" Stay strong!".
Diagnosed on her 50th birthday with stage 2 breast cancer, Jill battled strong, getting a clean bill of health after 5 years and deemed in remission.
Now, at 57, the breast cancer has resurged back to the breast and metastasized into the bone and liver.
Although incurable, she now has to learn to live with the painful cancer that is in her bones and body.
Ironically and wonderfully enough, she has an amazing support team at Liberty Hospital in North Kansas City where she works in the Oncology department.
Doubled by the amazing care of the surgeons and cancer staff at KU Medical Hospital in Kansas City, she is in great hands.
We are not out of the woods yet, we still need your help.
WIth this tryng time, there is loss of work and wages as well as skyrocketing medical bills that the family is enduring as she still needs chemotherapy treatments and other surgeries.
The money that we hope to raise through this will help Jill and her family with any and all medical expenses, new and alternative styles of beating cancer found all over the world, as well as the daily expenses of living.
Those of you who know Jill, know she is a fighter and is strong! She was a single mother all her life giving me every chance to suceed and have a better life, now it's my turn to help her continue with her better life.
