<div>As many of you know, <strong>Jill has been in and out of the hospital and out of work on and off for the last year due to multiple surgeries and procedures as well as complications</strong>. In 2022 she was having issues with her stomach where she couldn't eat anything without throwing up. Couldn't even drink water. Doctors thought it was acid reflux so they did a surgery to help with that, come to find out that was not the case and they did more testing to find her stomach wasn't digesting food. The only procedure to fix the issue was gastric bypass. She had the gastric bypass in 2023 then had issues with getting all food intake since then. She then deleloped type one diabetes on top of everything else. Now onto recently, on August 18th, she had surgery for her intestines and bowel being wrapped around each other and was hospitalized for a night. She came home and had to return the following week due to nausea and vomiting again. She then had to have another surgery for her bowel being compressed. A couple of days later, she had to have a third surgery for complications from getting her gallbladder removed. She was officially diagnosed with malnutrition due to being sick for so long. She then had to get a tube placed for feedings because she was unable to eat all the calories needed during the day. She was able to come home from the hospital yesterday after 13 days inpatient.

<div>Meanwhile, in the hospital, she lost her full-time job and now the insurance company is refusing to pay for tube feedings at home. <strong>It is estimated to cost $413 a week just for supplies needed for tube feedings</strong>. Doctors are still discussing a fourth surgery that is needed, but they will only do surgery if weight is gained. She can't gain weight without the tube feedings but also cannot afford the tube feedings, especially now that she does not have a full-time job, and even with a full-time job, she could not afford $413 a week. <strong>Any contribution would help as well as prayers.</strong>
