Jillian's Mission Trip/Summer Study

Hello!

My name is Jillian Geyer and I am a Junior at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte majoring in Special Education.

This summer, I have the opportunity to go on a once in a lifetime trip to Europe. I am going with other students and professors to do mission work with children at the Vatican and to build our cultural awareness.  The main city we will provide mission work to is Rome. The entire trip will be a cultural and a spiritual experience that I will not have the opportunity to participate in again. 

Unfortunately, this amazing opportunity isn't funded. We are fundraising in Charlotte by participating in car washes, ticket sales for giveaways, and t-shirt sales. However, this is not enough. I need to raise $4,000 to be able to go. I am also working as a nanny, while attending school full- time, to provide as much as I can.

Any donation will help me to be able to serve my Lord and have an impactful experience with children and families from another culture. This experience will enhance my cultural awareness to benefit my abilities as a teacher working in a diverse classroom environment. I will be grateful for anything you can donate, including your prayers for safe travels.
