Jordan International Aid
Hurricane Harvey has caused historical flooding for Houston and it's surrounding cities. Thousands have been displaced and are without the basic necessities for living. We need your help. Jordan International Aid [JIA] has been involved in offering aid for those affected by disasters since 2005. We have served in Haiti, Kenya, Cambodia, USA [Hurricane Sandy], Mexico, Nicaragua, Nepal, Japan and many other countries and now we are sending a team to Houston and you can help. We will be working through a local church in the city of Houston called Vertical and we need to raise $50,000.00 USD. This amount will help cover the cost for items used during our medical missions that will have an immediate effect for those in need as well as a long term affect by continuously sending teams to the hardest hit regions of the greater Houston area.

We have MD's and RNs who are already taking time off to go in response to the state of Texas' dire need and request for health professionals outside of TX to come and help. We have MDs & RNs ready to respond, but need support for the travel and local costs. Please know these are all volunteers and they are working hard as well to raise their own support to come and do this work.
