Cancer takes all

Hello my name I Julie ( Mendes) Kirby. I was diagnosed with breast cancer October of 2016. I am humbly requesting assistance and resistance from what  could be a homeless future.

Cancer takes all....

Cancer eventually took my 1/3 of my left breast. During diagnose and treatment plan, I continued to work, followed a drug therapy Doctors thought would shrink the tumor. After many MRIs and mamograms it was determined the tumor continued to grow, including a 3mm cancer found in the adjoining lymph node. September 2017  lead to surgery, lumpectomy, and sentinale node (lymph) removal. The resulting pathology lead to chemo, 4 rounds, then radiation. 

 Cancer took my job....I had to quit my job as a substitute teacher in order to liquidate what little retirement I had. Thats right in oder to secure early disbursement from Calstrs, California school district pension administrator I had to officially terminate my position. I DID NOT receive state disability because Oceanside Unified School District did not pay into state disability. Since I am not a contracted employee I could not get disability through the district.

Cancer has left me broke....I have depleted all my resources, from savings to retirement and now appeal to you for rental help. I was able to pay 500 of 1600 for December, currently owe 1600 for January and February is due the 8th. I am only hoping to get caught up to January, I have some utilities due also. I am back to work.

Cancer took my hair...

Can you, with all humility, assist me in getting back on my feet so I can focus on healing and not on stressed out strategizing how to live as a homeless person?
