Trey Hemphill Medical fund

As many of you Trey was in a terrible accident out of the country. Much of the medical costs, including the Medi-vac back to the US, are having to be paid out of pocket by his family. These cost have already reached over $20,000 and continue to accumulate. We want to do our best as friends, family and community to try and help the family with these expenses. We want Trey to get better as fast as he can without having to worry about these costs. Any amount you can donate is greatly appreciated and will go directly to Trey's medical costs. We would like to than you in advance for any contributations.

The Hemphill's are so very thankful for all the donations for Trey. Trey had two surgeries yesterday and is still in ICU. He is in good spirits and staying positive. The next week should tell us more about his condition and what the next steps will be to ensure Trey's recovery. We have realized with all this in mind that we need to raise our goal. When we first set up this account we wanted to help with the cost of getting Trey back to the U.S. . Now we are not sure how long the recovery will take or the amount of the medical expenses. Frank and Pamela will most likely have to be away from home for an undetermined amount of time and away from their jobs. We would like to do all we can to help them all. Many people have asked how  long this campaign will continue. After speaking to Frank and Pamela yesterday we realize there is not a ceiling on the expenses they are incurring each day as Trey moves through what is going to be a long recovery process. Thanks everyone for all you have done and please keep praying for Trey and keep them all in your prayers!

Trey’s incredible spirit stays in tact, and his family, girlfriend, and her family are beyond amazed and grateful for the outpouring of love, positivity and support from friends, acquaintances, and supporters near and far.

Yesterday, Trey asked that his speaker be brought to the hospital so that he could listen to the Saturday and Sunday shows that he missed. He especially loved the Mexican Cousin > Curtain Opener from the 3rd night. As a true testament to his incredible spirit and positivity, when he asked if the band did anything other than 'Bowie' for tribute, his response was that he guesses a song named after him is enough.

Today, the doctors are hopeful to move Trey into more of an upright position and start therapy. It’s a long road of recovery ahead, but as we all keep saying, if anyone can do it, it’s Trey and he’ll be dancing again soon!
