It is with profound sadness and heartbreak that we announce the tragic loss of our beloved Juan Sebastian. On what should have been just another ordinary evening after soccer practice, his life was cut short by a senseless act of gun violence. Juan Sebastian was not affiliated with any gangs, nor were any of his close friends. His passing serves as a devastating reminder that violence can strike even those who live their lives with kindness, integrity, and love.
 Juan Sebastian was the best son, brother, and friend anyone could ever ask for. He was deeply family-oriented, cherishing every moment spent with his loved ones. Just a week away from starting his senior year of high school, Juan Sebastian was ready to lead his school’s soccer team as captain. Soccer was more than just a game to him; it was his passion from the time he was 4 years old. Through the touch of the ball, he formed lasting friendships and built a community that loved and respected him as much as he did them.  He held a special place in his heart for his girlfriend, whom he loved dearly, and his caring and compassionate nature was evident to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His presence brought warmth and joy to all who crossed his path.
 In this difficult time, our family is reaching out for support to help cover the funeral expenses, memorial costs, and final arrangements for Juan Sebastian.  The unexpected nature of his passing has left us unprepared to bear the financial burden of these costs. Your contribution, no matter the size, will help ease this burden and allow us to focus on honoring and remembering Juan Sebastian in the way he truly deserves.

En lo que debería haber sido una noche ordinaria después de la práctica de fútbol, su vida fue truncada por un acto sin sentido de violencia armada. Juan Sebastián no estaba afiliado a ninguna pandilla, ni tampoco sus amigos cercanos. Su fallecimiento es un recordatorio devastador de que la violencia puede afectar incluso a aquellos que viven sus vidas con amabilidad, integridad y amor.  Juan Sebastián era el mejor hijo, hermano y amigo que alguien podría pedir. Era una persona profundamente orientada a la familia, que atesoraba cada momento que pasaba con sus seres queridos. A solo una semana de comenzar su último año de secundaria, Juan Sebastián estaba listo para liderar el equipo de fútbol de su escuela como capitán. El fútbol era más que un juego para él; era su pasión desde que tenía 4 años. A través del toque del balón, formó amistades duraderas y construyó una comunidad que lo amaba y respetaba tanto como él a ellos.
 Él tenía un lugar especial en su corazón para su novia, a quien amaba profundamente, y su naturaleza cariñosa y compasiva era evidente para todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo. Su presencia traía calidez y alegría a todos los que se cruzaban en su camino.  En este difícil momento, nuestra familia está pidiendo apoyo para ayudar a cubrir los gastos del funeral, los costos del memorial y los arreglos finales para Juan Sebastián. La naturaleza inesperada de su fallecimiento nos ha dejado sin preparación para asumir la carga financiera de estos costos.
