JH Ranch Trip with Devon

Hey guys!  I have just been presented with a unique opportunity to take Devon to JH Ranch next Friday, May 31st.  They are usually sold out and I have been given a slot through a connection.  

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for me to spend with Devon, my eldest son.  My desire is to take all of my boys to JH Ranch and I believe I will be in a position to do that financially in the future for my other six sons.  I am presently coming out of a real wilderness season and I am running out of time to take Devon as he will be a Senior this year and the program is designed for high school age teenagers. 

Linda and I attended a talk by John Eldredge, author of "Wild at Heart" years ago where he stated that your first born was guaranteed to be in therapy since you were learning how to parent on that one.  I have found that statement to be true as my son Devon has taken on the brunt of our parenting mistakes.  I am believing for some real healing for he and I at JH Ranch.  

I have spent the past four years with my friends Mark Johnston and Dan Biddle pouring into young men through our "Knights of Christ"/"Boys 2 Men" ministry where we have seen close to 50 boys Knighted through the program.  I believe very strongly in raising up Godly Men.  

I believe this opportunity will make me a better father to my seven sons, a wiser mentor for our program and bring much needed healing to Devon's heart.  I am hoping that you would consider sowing $100.00 into this opportunity for Devon and I to attend this life changing event. 

I am trying to raise $4,000.00 in order to take him.  Registration is $3,550.00 and I'm hoping to raise another $450 for travel expenses and incidentals, etc.  I will need the funds no later than Friday, May 31st.
