<div>I’ve begun to share a little bit about my journey battling with gender dysphoria, earlier this month on my social pages and my plans to finally try do to something about it, by raising funds for the costs of my Facial Feminisation Surgery and Laser Hair removal treatments.

<div>Here’s a little bit about me and my story - I’m a Somali artist and community organiser based in London, for almost a decade I’ve dedicated most of my time to building a tangible and meaningful community for others like me. I’ve been lucky enough to create, express myself and make a living through my work for the past 5 years, but in the last couple of years this has slowly been affected by the depression caused from gender dysphoria, whether this looks like days, sometimes weeks wasted in bed or constantly feeling like a stranger in my own body, I’m finally in a place where I feel ready to reclaim my body and to live in my most self-realised form.

<div>This is not something I can do on my own and I turn to my community and those that believe trans women deserve to live a life without these shackles to ask for help with raising funds that would go towards my FFS, recovery period and other gender affirming care.
