Eye Surgery for Keratoconus

Donation protected
Hi everyone, I'm Kevin and I was diagnosed with kerataconus 10 years ago. Kerataconus is a vision issue but it is a medical condition. At the time of my diagnosis, there wasn't very much information on the disease and I have been making due as it has progressed. I'm a Santa Cruz, Ca native and worked there all of my life. I had been a cabbie for the last 12 years until this disease eventually stopped me from being able to drive. From that point, things just went downhill. I've always made my own way no matter what except now. I couldn't work and I refuse to go on disability. As with many other people, once my income went so did my business, my housing and my ability to continue with my life as it was. A friend recommended this site so that I might have a chance to get my life back. I am trying to get the funds together for the Corneal cross-linking surgery that can give me my vision back to a level that I can drive, work, etc.  For information, here is the link to the National Kerataconus Foundation  https://www.nkcf.org/about-keratoconus. This site has helped me immensely.  I'm just hoping that I can put the word out and get some help that is really needed. Anything would help at this point and any gift is appreciated beyond words.  Thank you for reading my story and caring. Kevin
