Saving a house

To anyone who is reading this, my name is Alyssa Rosenberger. You may or may not know my parents Cliff and Caroline Rosenberger. We are a family of seven, including my grandmother who has lived with us since 2001. My parents are good people who are struggling. My father is a proud man and has been only able to work on and off for the last 2 years. His medical issues, physical and mental, have gotten worse. He is currently getting help but my parents are finding themselves in the worst position they have ever been in. Along with various other struggles, the pressing issue here is their mortgage. They are a few months behind and have been issued notice. With a family of seven, our family is trying to scramble to come up with the money to pay the mortgage and utilities. My mom is the most hardworking woman I will ever know and she is currently working over time. She is always trying to give us all the opportunity to experience trips, and other things although she does not have a lot of money. I could never fully repay both of them with all of the sacrifices they have made but this seemed like a small way to relieve some of the stress even if it’s only a couple of dollars.

If anyone knows my parents, Cliff and Caroline, they would give the community the shirts off their backs. They are always the first ones to volunteer and try to help someone if they are in need. My father has been strongly involved with the community through the schools and our local athletic league where he volunteers as President. They don’t like to ask for help themselves and will not, which is why I am starting this campaign on behalf of my parents. They have the biggest hearts and do not deserve to feel like they are going to lose the house where their children were raised in so soon. My brothers are working and are trying to help but don’t make that much. My little brother and I attend school all day and can not contribute all that much.

I am asking, that our community of friends share this and donate whatever you can afford to help. I am aware that many people have it worse, but this is heading in a very frightening direction. It does not have to be a lot of money, just something to take the heavy load off of their backs. Everyone needs help in their lives at some point and this is a moment that I never expected to happen growing up.

I would ultimately like to get them caught up on their mortgage and help my parents pay some of the bills that are causing the most stress so my father can concentrate on his health and getting better. Any donation will greatly be appreciated, thank you.
