Abby McDonald Kick Cancer Fund

Abby McDonald, our beloved sister in Foresthill, CA was diagnosed in 2015 with an aggressive form of breast cancer, triple negative.  With the spirit of a fighter, Abby changed her lifestyle, diet and went back to a past time of her youth....running. She ran to cope, ran to get healthy and ran....to be a better, stronger Abby.  Her plan was working...until tragedy struck and she lost one of the loves of her life, her precious youngest son Logan in a fatal accident by a young DUI driver June 2017.  Her friends suspect this event changed the course of her health...and her body relapsed. Abby has the desire to be well and is now seeking a form of immunotherapy in a reknowned clinic in Mexico. Her cancer has metastasized putting demands on her lungs and bones. She weekly has been having her lungs drained of infectious fluids...and now is battling pneumonia.  Her copayments are daunting and as the disability system won’t meet her living needs for another 5 months...she now has the stress of medical bills and personal demands for her care.  Not to mention, the stress of Logan’s ongoing civil and criminal trials.  Her family and friends bleed for her....and pray without ceasing fo her healing and immediate needs to be met.  We pray with urgency for the cancer cells to miraculously exit her body and be replaced with thriving, healthy Abby cells. We pray for financial support....an action we can all help with.  Every dollar counts...and will be used for her care, comfort and healing.  We still believe in miracles and know the love from her family, her son in Heaven and this community will be a support to her now....when every moment counts.  Let’s bless her abundantly....and use even the mustard seed of faith we each have to pray for healing.   We love you Abby...fight, fight, fight.
