Ride for Hope

Hi everyone. 

I intend on riding 204kms on Sunday the 25th April. Starting and finishing in Torquay.

I will follow the cape Otway road leading out of Torquay heading towards Skenes Creek,
just shy of Apollo Bay. Then turning and
heading back toward Torquay via the Great
Ocean Road.  That will give me 204kms total
distance with around 2.5kms of uphill climbing

It will be a very tough ride, but hopefully it will give my friends Angus, Brega and baby Etta the help they need in their own personal battle. 

At the beginning of March, 39 weeks pregnant with their first baby, Brega received the shock diagnosis of breast cancer. 

She birthed a beautiful baby girl  Etta just 8 days later, and is now about to embark on her treatment program next week which will last for much of the rest of the year.

As a family, Brega, Angus and Etta are making a huge effort to support Brega's health from a holistic angle as well as the traditional medicine one to ensure an abundantly healthy life on the other side of this. Like with all extra therapies, these come at a cost. They are choosing to leave no stone unturned in ensuring a quick recovery so they can live their lives illness free with their divine Etta Hope.

I know times are tough at the moment for
many of us, however any amount you can give, no matter how big or small will go a long way
to fund medical and social help for this
beautiful young  family.
