Rick's Cancer Fight

Rick is 50 years young and was recently diagnosed with Laryngeal cancer.   Laryngeal cancer occurs when cancerous (malignant) cells form on the tissues of the larynx, or voice box.  Cancers of the larynx make up about 2%-5% of diagnosed cancers. More than twice as many men as women are diagnosed.   Even with the terrible prognosis Rick remains extremely upbeat and he is determined to fight and enjoy each day. Rick is set to undergo radiation with chemotheropy to follow. 

For those of you that have had the pleasure to get to know Rick over the years you know that he is one of a kind. He is generous and kind hearted with a great sense of humor. He is a special person with an upbeat attitude and incredible spirit. Rick has a great deal of friends and family supporting him, but he needs our help now more than ever. The cost of ongoing treatment is going to be a tremendous financial burden for Rick and his family, so any financial donation is greatly appreciated.
