A year ago I wrote about the dire turnaround needed at BU Hillel. Jewish life on campus was withering and BU Hillel had no money in the bank. After one year, I’m thrilled to report that our recovery is well underway, and while all of our numbers are much better, this work is about making a difference with students, one at a time.
We’ve made tremendous progress, yet we are just at the beginning of our journey to excellence. We remain vastly underfunded relatively to other Hillels and there are numerous important things students need that we can’t yet provide.
