Twin Peaks - Bloody Long Walk
Donation protected
Jet and Dex are twins with a rare condition called Beckwith-Wiedemann syndrome!
This is means that parts of their bodies grow faster than others, such as tongue, and other organs. This requires surgery, and special care - which is, in the main covered by Medicare.
The syndrome lasts until about 8 years of age, and then reconstructive surgery is undertaken.
We walking “The Bloody Long Walk” to raise money for the family, so that they can receive the extra support they need, with 3 children (2 of which have the syndrome.)
Mum has already had to become a full time carer, whilst Dad, is working hard - AND is a volunteer firefighter, to make sure the family has what it needs.
This is a community effort to support a family, and help Them through.
