Jesus Vargas Recovery

Friday October 5th my brother and his friends where involved in a car accident on their way home from work approximately around 5pm in Westley Ca. Unfortunately his two friends passed away and my brother was flown to Doctors Medical in Modesto in critical condition and taken into emergency surgery due to his injures. We began to worry that night because he wasn't answering our calls or texts. He never came home, we started to contact people and try to reach out to any co workers or friends and that's when we found out that he was in an accident and critical. Apparently that night his heart stopped and was fortunately revived and went straight to surgery. He suffered major injures to his small intestine, fractured his back, and fractured his leg. So far he has had two surgeries to repair the damage to his intestine. As of right now he is still critical but stable his surgery went well and we are hoping no complications arise. He is more prone to infection as a result of the removal of his spleen. They were able to repair and reconnect his bowels with out cutting too much out during the second surgery they found part of his colon was dead and had to remove that area. Luckily he is conscious and continues to fight to stay alive it is a true miracle he survived this accident and he will require more surgeries and care. He is still intubated and his doctors are trying to regain strength in his lungs and hopefully take it out within the next few days. My sister and i decided to create this account in hopes of taking a little bit of stress off of my parents as they are worried about how to pay for everything while also being there every step of the way for my brother. if any of you can help us out with whatever you can whether it be 50 cents or just a prayer we appreciate it and would be extremely grateful. We just pray god continues to give my brother the strength to pull through and come back home.
