Jesus Took the Wheels!

"Jesus, take the wheel."

"Okay, I took all four."

"No, not like THAT!"

We've had a disaster. Our car is un-drivable. We were stranded in Columbus, three hours from home. We were stuck here for days. Friends are being very kind, arranging to keep the doorstop of a car for me until I can bring the title to Columbus and scrap it. Another friend is giving us a ride home. I've even been promised a ride to pick up a new used car as soon as I can possibly find one. I just don't have money for the vehicle. I am my family's only driver. The transit in our hometown is not good. My daughter's soccer and martial arts lessons are off the bus route and most of the cheap places to go shopping are in Robinson an hour away. I need a car so my family will be able to function. In addition, neighbors and friends depend on me as I give rides to them when they can't get a ride to the doctor or the food pantry. I live in a poor neighborhood where we all help each other. Lots of people will be stuck without my car! Thank you all so much for your help!
