Jester’s Emergency Bill
Donation protected
Jester (my emotional support cat) had a pretty bad accident tonight and now has a very deep puncture wound. I had to take him to the emergency hospital tonight (Monday 12/14). The wound was so deep that it did cut his leg muscles and all surrounding tissue. The doctor did put it back together as much as possible as well as the surrounding areas. He now has a tube coming from that area for drainage that will need to be removed (12/18). He is to extremely limit the walking, absolutely no jumping or climbing at all for a minimum of 2-4 weeks. He has have pain meds he has to take every 8 hours, anti inflammatory pills for 2 days. Has to be under 100% supervision if we are unable to supervise he must be in a crate to limit his movement. At the end of the 2-4 weeks I will have to start slowly doing range of motion exercises with his leg, hopefully he will have full range of motion when all healed.
These are sadly expenses we absolutely do not have the funds for. We are asking for any and all help in order to pay for this unexpected extremely high vet bill.
