Jessi’s Thyroid Cancer Support Fund

Jessi received some bad news a couple of weeks ago. After several months of testing and imaging, Jessi was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer. It has metastasized into several lymph node sites in her neck and chest. She is going to have to undergo surgery again on her  neck (if you will recall Jessi had to have major spinal surgery just last year) have to remove her thyroid and the affected lymph nodes. She will then undergo radiation treatment. Her doctors are still discussing the need for a second spinal surgery to be performed in tandem with her thyroid removal.

Jessi will need to take off at  least a week unpaid for surgery and doctor appointments. Her surgery has yet to be scheduled as she is required to pay her copay up front. 

To say the least Jessi’s last year has been pretty rough. Through it all I've watched Jessi struggle to remain strong but even the strong need a little help sometimes. We've had many people inquire about how they could help. One of the things Jessi is in most need of is financial support as she approaches and works through  treatment.
