I want to begin by saying that this is very difficult for me to ask. I know God wants me to be humble and reach out to all of Jessica’s loved ones. Jessica has been diagnosed with stage III breast cancer for a second time. She is undergoing extensive treatment to fight this vicious disease. The treatment she is/will undergo includes the following:

Mastectomy (second time)
Chemotherapy
Surgery to remove cancerous nodes
Radiation

My daughter is one of the most amazing, inspirational and beautiful young women I know. Her strength through all of this has exemplified the true meaning of HERO and role model.
As you know, Jessica and Scott have always been willing to open their home to family members in need when they were down on their luck. They dedicated many years to fund raisers including breast cancer. They have donated food to the hungry even hand delivering prepared meals to the homeless. Scott and Jessica have taught Nicholas and Madison these valuable lessons of sharing and giving back by providing them first hand experiences with helping those in need. They have truly touched so many people’s lives.
We are praying for the very best outcome but unfortunately prayer is not enough. So I am asking everyone to give back to Jessica, Scott and the kids. Jessica’s breast cancer has not only stripped her of hair, breast, and health but it also has caused financial hardships for their family. They are in debt due to high insurance co-pays and medications needed to keep Jessica alive (one of her medicines cost over $500.00 dollars per month).
Cancer has effected the Strumar’s so severely that they are in jeopardy of losing their home. We, as a family, have always paid it forward. Now, I am humbly asking all of you to help raise money so my daughter can fight for her life without worrying about losing everything. Don’t let cancer take anything else from the Strumar Family. I thank and praise God everyday and ask they he continues to give my daughter and our family the strength to continue to fight.
