Jessica's 1st Mission Trip - Uganda

Hey everyone! I am thrilled to share with you all that after much prayer and consideration, I am endeavoring to go on my very first mission trip! As many of you know, my Mom has been on several mission trips but we now believe that God has called me to join her and our team from our home church, Spirit of God Called and Chosen Outreach Ministries International in Florida.
We will be in Kabale, Uganda for the Antioch Convention hosted by Pastor Victor Tukakira of Soul Winner Church in Kabale. I had the great pleasure of spending time with Pastor Victor when he visited my church in Florida a few years ago. What a sweet humble servant!
My prayer is that God will give me the grace that I need to complete the assignment and take full advantage of the opportunity that He has given me despite the physical challenges I may face. I know that He is using me in my current condition! It is my desire to see God move in that Country in mighty ways! In Africa, sadly, a lot of times individuals with disabilities are not accepted. It is looked upon as if the parents did something wrong and having a disability is associated with evil spirits. People with disabilities are isolated, lacking medical care, children lack socialization and schooling. It is my prayer, that I will have something to give that will break down barriers and touch the lives of those with disabilities - that being the Holy Spirit and enable those lives to be free in Jesus to do what He has called them to do and be who He has called them to be!
However, I will not be able to do all of this without your prayers and financial support. I know you believe in what God is doing and your support would mean the world to me! My goal is to raise $2,500. The convention is scheduled for May 7-11th, 2018 and we will probably fly out somewhere around May 5th and be gone for 10 days. Some of the expenses include airfare, lodging, immunizations, Visa, Passport, and items needed like insect repellent, sunscreen, snacks, etc.
Here is a breakdown of the costs and the deadlines (I will be updating as soon as I find out more definite costs):
*Airline ticket - Approximately $1700 - Needs to be booked in April
*Visa - $100 - At least 2 weeks prior to leaving
*Immunizations - Approximately $400 - Scheduled for March 27th
*Lodging - Approximately $500 - Any time before I leave. ASAP!
