Jessica Rogers's Recovery

On her way to school Jessica was rear ended at 65 mph. She was taken to the ER and after an exam she was referred to a specialist for her concussion, whiplash, neck and back injuries. Jessica has not been able to get in to see a specialist as of yet and is still feeling the effects of the injuries. She can't manage to sit up or stand for more than 30 minutes. The concussion makes her feel so fatigued she can hardly stay awake more than a few hours at a time. She had to drop two of her classes at college and hasn't been back to work yet.

As a single dedicated mom trying to make ends meet an event like this can financially set her back months. She's used most of her savings in the last two weeks and has no money coming in since she hasn't been back to work since the accident. Jessica's bare necessity monthly expenses add up to about $1000. It would be nice if we could rally together and get her through at least three months so she can stop worrying about bills and start focusing solely on getting better.

Her son is home afternoons and weekends to help with household chores and meals and a few friends have offered to give her rides to doctor's appointments. All that's left is getting though the financial setbacks this can cause.
