Jessica's Fight

If you know Jessica, you need no introduction of how amazing she is. If you don’t know her, let me tell you a little bit about my super woman cousin. Jessica is 32 years old with a 3 year old son named Logan. He is the light of her life. I always knew my cousin was something special. I didn’t know how just special she was until she became a mom. She’s selfless, she’s a great teacher and she’s hands on. Everything that I aspire to be as a mother. I’ve always looked up to Jess. She’s smart, she’s a hard worker and she’s compassionate. Being only a year older, we grew up like sisters. Sleepovers, pool parties, bickering like sisters and making up like friends.


Jessica was diagnosed with Breast cancer in November of 2017. In January of 2018, she underwent a double mastectomy. Her recovery has been hard, she had complications and has since been back under the knife. The complications are pushing her chemo start date back with a now tentative date for March 8th. She will be doing 5 months of chemotherapy, 16 treatments total. Then 6 weeks of radiation. My cousin has been very private about her diagnosis. She’s been out of work since she found out about the breast cancer and bills are piling up from PET scans, MRI, ultrasounds, mammogram, biopsy, reconstruction and complications..not to mention the chemo and radiation treatments to come. She finally agreed to let me reach out to community. Jessica was a cheerleader and dancer her whole life. I know not being active has been hard for her. She also worked at the YMCA for many years and I know touched many young lives there. If you don’t have means to donate, please share this page and please pray.
